<strong>Thyme</strong> <strong>essential</strong> <strong>oil</strong> is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering plant. <strong>Thyme</strong> <strong>essential</strong> <strong>oil</strong> has a fresh, spicy herbal aroma. <strong>Thyme</strong> , grows in the countries of Central and Southern Europe, North Africa and South Asia, in sunny rocky places. Up to several hundred varieties of thyme are known. In the past, the herb was a symbol of bravery and courage, Roman soldiers bathed in thyme water, the Egyptians used it as an antiseptic and preservative in embalming, and it also belonged to medieval sacred magical herbs.
There are several types of <strong>thyme</strong> <strong>essential</strong> <strong>oil</strong> , all derived from the same herb (Thymus Vulgaris), but depending on where it is grown, it varies in chemical composition. <strong>The essential</strong> <strong>oil</strong> of <strong>Bodhi</strong> <strong>Thyme</strong> is a type of <strong>thyme</strong> <strong>thymol</strong> .
It has a strong <strong>antibacterial</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>antiviral</strong> <strong>effect</strong> <strong>,</strong> <strong>helps</strong> <strong>with</strong> <strong>respiratory</strong> <strong>diseases</strong> , acts as a prophylaxis or alleviates the symptoms of flu, colds, bronchitis, purulent tonsillitis.
<strong>Thyme</strong> <strong>essential</strong> <strong>oil</strong> has a strengthening effect on the psyche, activates and gives vigor and vitality.
<strong>Thyme</strong> <strong>essential</strong> <strong>oil</strong> in concentrated form can irritate the skin and mucous membranes, so it must be diluted accordingly.

<strong>USAGE</strong> <strong>:</strong>
<ul>
<li>AROMATIZATION OF ROOM – add 3-5 drops to water in an aroma lamp.</li>
<li>EXTERNAL USE – for massage, dilute 1-1.5% of essential oil in adult base oil, i.e. 2-4 drops per 10 ml of base vegetable oil (0.5% for children and adolescents from 6 to 12 years.</li>
<li>BATH – Dilute 3-5 drops in one tablespoon of salt or warm milk/honey.</li>
<li>In COSMETIC PRODUCTS – 1-3 drops.</li>
